About Elka
Elka is a qualified Jenkins Equine Neurophysiologic Therapist (JENT), qualifying in Equine Massage and Equine Myofascial Release in 2008.
Elka has loved horses for as long as she can remember. Finally, owning her first horse as a teenager, she joined the local horse riding club, actively participating in local equestrian and dressage events.
Over the years as Elka's riding progressed, she started to wonder if many training issues were an indicator of discomfort rather than unwillingness. After meeting Dianne Jenkins and learning more about her therapy, Elka became interested in pursing this path herself.
Since establishing Equine Performance & Wellbeing in 2009, Elka has built up a substantial clientele base across New South Wales.
Elka continues to further develop her knowledge, actively participating in courses. Her qualifications include:

I am currently studying Animal Physiotherapy with The College of Animal Physiotherapy in the UK. (https://tcap.co.uk/)
Elka gained skills and knowledge working and travelling with Dianne Jenkins (Dianne Jenkins Equine Therapies). Over the past 25 years, Dianne has developed an equine body work system including releases on subclinical fascia. It is this system which is unique to Dianne's work, further enhancing the already outstanding results this therapy has proven to provide.
